Willem Blees has the knowledge and expertise to work on all makes and models of pianos. He is a concert level piano technician, and has worked on pianos for concert artists including Emanuel Ax, Olga Kern, Misha Dichter, Peter Nero, Victor Borge, and Roger Williams, just to name a few. Willem has also tuned the piano for groups including Peter Paul & Mary, the Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, Dolly Parton, and many others.
As part of his continuing education, Willem attended an in-depth three week concert level training seminar at the Steinway piano factory in New York City. He has also attended week long seminars offered by Baldwin, Kimball, and Mason & Hamlin.
Willem has attended more than 55 seminars and technical institutes with instructors from Yamaha, Kawai, Young Chang, Samick, Pearl River, and many other piano manufacturers.
Willem can take care of the cabinet of your piano. He has the tools, equipment, and experience to remove scratches, dents, and dings, as well as to polish the cabinetry. Willem can also service piano cabinets with a polyester finish.
